The Wait
2003 · Modernciné
Director: David M. Korn
DP: William Miller
Location Scout: Alfred Cooney
Producer: Andrew van den Houten

Synopsis
A saloon, two gunfighters, a shootout. "The Wait" is a classic western reduced to its basic elements. It's the end of One man's story and the beginning of another's. Who's the hero, who's the villain? In a fateful confrontation, is there even a difference?

Background
First developed as a short, this project was also adapted as a spec spot for MasterCard. After designing a complete saloon to be built in a Staten Island studio, I scouted "Wild West City" in Netcong, NJ. It was was more cost effective to shoot on-location and the building plans were scrapped. The spot was shot on location and Karen Yan took over on set Art Direction.
